She chose to eat some guys, because it would help protect her team from herself, and because she was hungry and wanted to, and scared not to. She chose to attack a team they were neutral on and a team they were close to, which, when you think about it is fine, and when you feel about it is awful in different ways. She tells herself it's because she wanted to end the game quickly, decrease the number of sacrifices, but she doesn't quite believe herself. Being a monster--having that power--was thrilling. So she's pretty disgusted and horrified with herself, but she also doesn't feel like she deserves to freak out, so she's just kind of quietly compartmentalising that and moving on, just a little bit more jaded, less Pollyannaish.
